rainy morning...

Nice slow morning here. Sleeping in, working out, eating breakfast and checking in. Everyone doing their own thing. I kind of like these types of mornings once in a while.

Just another Monday...

Can't quite decide if I like Mondays or not. I was totally not in the mood to workout this morning, but am very proud of the fact that I did...90 minutes of yoga, right after drop off. Followed by a big run of groceries, unloading of groceries, pick-up, gymnastics for A, pick-up again, shower night for both of them, dinner and bed time. My treat for the day? Finding this dessert made by Hannah......Banana, Kiwi, Raisins & Honey. DZ. I.Love.That. :)

Home Day

It is a bright and sunny home day for A and I today. Daddy is off to Columbus and H has school today. This morning as we left for school the fog had yet to clear... every little branch had frost on it, which was even more beautiful with the fog.

After dropping H off, A and I headed home to play. Here he is waiting to give me a kiss... I love these days.

There was something about today...

I guess I shouldn't be surprised but there was a different feel about today..the excitement of possibility, renewal of energy and hope that this day brought. This will be a day I will remember for sure...

First Knitting

H's first home knitting project. Knit on chopsticks (because she didn't have her own needles when she started this). She's decided to cast-off today and sew up the edges to make a pouch.

So proud...

Through her eyes

Today is "snow day" number 4 of this school year. Today it's due to the -20 degree weather we're enjoying. The kids spent most of the morning trying on old Halloween costumes. Then H asked if she could use my camera. Here are a couple of my favorites of her captures today...

Never Ending

I absolutely Hate laundry...it just never ends. And my biggest pet-peeve is laundry that sits unfolded in a basket.
